The ISMIS 2022 conference will be held in Cosenza, Italy. Cosenza (IPA: [koˈzɛnʦa]) is an Italian city located in Southern Italy, in Calabria. It’s the capital of the homonymous Province. The city centre has a population of approximately 63,000, while the urban area counts over 200,000 inhabitants.

Founded by the Bruzi who made it their capital in the fourth century BC, it exercised a hegemonic role in the region until the conquest by the Romans and from the sixteenth century assumed the role of capital of Calabria Citeriore. The modern city is the fulcrum of an urban agglomeration including, among others, the municipality of Rende, where the University of Calabria campus is located and the municipality of Castrolibero with which there is integrated programming for the planning of services and functions.

The proposed venue for the conference is the (“Flying”) Aula Caldora at University of Calabria, near the University Bus Stop.
